November "Whatnot"

I really do pay attention to my fellow digital video students.  I hear the laments of what we wish we had in the video cage.  The picture shown at the right is Garrett Brown, noted for the invention of the Steady Cam, but me, I rather like his dolly.  However, the dolly is not what this "Whatnot" is all about. Anyone interested in learning more about nearly ANY program or digital technique there are now TWO workstations available in 115B with FULL ACCESS to the entire lynda.com library of classes/videos.

The two iMacs are dedicated to that use. Just go into the documents folder and find the file for log-in info. They are available any time there is a lab tech available in the room, OR with permission from faculty in 115C or A.

This is a one year trial to see how well it is used, and if people like it.   Feedback would be welcome. Drop a line to Angela Berlingeri at
